Love
This is a very different post from the ones I usually write.
I am reminded suddenly of a verse from a great song, " Orphans Song "
We are the orphan boys
And the forgotten girls
We are lost and far from home
We are the Fatherless
Born of dust and nothingness
We are lost and far from home
But there is no love like Yours in all the world
There is no love like Yours in the universe
There is no love that heals my broken heart
There is no love like Yours at all
LOVE
I think I am being saturated with love. I think God is going to saturate this generation with love. After all what can heal a broken spirit? What can break the bonds that tie destinies to the ground? Love is the only source for this restoration. The kind of true, pure spring that only flows from God. Orphan Boys and Forgotten Girls prepare to be completely soaked.

Heart Smiles #2
Going to the register and finding out that what you grabbed is even more on sale then you realized!
The pants I originally thought were 25 bucks turned out to be 15!
Surprising Sales you make my heart (and my wallet) smile :)

Between The Branches
On Terry street there was a fig tree that grew over our porch. I used to always sit there when I needed to be alone. This picture reminds me alot of those times up between the branches. Away from it all. In fact I feel a poem coming on.
There’s always something more between
The branches of an elder tree
A place to rest a weary soul
When things begin to take their tole
A lovely place to catch a breath
To be alone at quiet rest
Forgotten sounds that reach me here
The gentle thrum of nature’s gears
Come breezy wind to kiss my face
Enter softly in this place
Then bursting with fantastic light
The flashing hue of orange bright
I see it is the rising sun
A warmth it breathes into my lungs
Reminding me of who I am
A daughter placed in mighty hands
Perched beyond those doubtful fears
The ones that whisper in my ears
They cannot reach me when I climb
Between the branches intertwined
Such perfect peace I’ve finally found
In my garden above the ground

Retro Riding
I love this whole look! Without the words this could be an awesome t-shirt!
And riding a bike is one of the great, simple things about life. Definitely a favorite past time. In Portland (Oregon) I rode my bike everyday exploring. Searching out new adventures, trying to find a hidden field or forest locked away within the confines of Suburbia. I was on occasion successful :)
Good Times.

Heart Smiles #1
So I kinda "borrowed" this idea from Ashley McCuen and her blog but I was just thinking of something that makes my heart smile.
Forgetting you hid candy in the freezer and then finding it. And no one has touched it! Oh frozen Milky Way you make my heart smile :)

Where The WIld Things Are
Where The Wild Things Are was a pretty awesome movie. Interesting worldview but absolutely hilarious! I went to go see it with Ashley on a double date. The "dates" were our brothers James and Christian and we had an awesome time together. Can't wait to do it again, I love The McCuens!
So I know this picture may seem insignificant but it has so much meaning. Basically Chris said take a picture of the audience. James who was holding the camera very boldly snapped a picture. Then you heard this resulting "Awwww." From the crowd like they were just so disappointed. We laughed hysterically.

Ladies Night!
Myself and a few friends (Ashley, Mackenna (also my cousin), Morgan and Christy) went out last Saturday. First we went to this coffee shop whose name escapes me and played apples to apples. Mackie won! Then we went back to the dollhouse (Christy's house that she owns with some great ladies!) and hung out and watched a super girly movie about friendship. Beaches is what I think the title is. It was a great time with some amazing friends :) Ashley and I also tried to make cookie dough and for some reason failed miserably. I think its because we didn't use any eggs.
A Lunch Date With Ash
Ashley and I had an awesome lunch date the other day, well maybe last week, anyways it was tons of fun! She works at her Aunt and Uncle's house which is just down the street from me so I popped over to hang out for a little while. We had Ravioli and candy! Sounds like a great meal to me :)
We have fantastic shoes.

Camp Catastrophe
Induction Sunday and My Big Bro James
So today was induction Sunday at church. Dustin and Misty were given their blessings to go off and officially lead Monroe. My brother James is one of the people going with them. It's going to be interesting not seeing him at church anymore. Though I admit I am used to not having him around. Even before MC's James was a social butterfly so he was always off somewhere and then he had his own house for awhile. I guess the only thing different about this is that James is starting a new chapter in his life that I'm not really a part of. He's going somewhere that I can't go, well maybe every once and awhile to visit. But I know that this is only the beginning of the chapters in James' life that I wont be there for. And that I must say that pains me just a little. But I trust in the Lord and really that is simply how life is. People grow and they move and change. They get wives and children and plant churches and move away. But still I know that no matter God's destiny for James he will always be my amazing biggest brother. By the way this is an awful picture of him. But hey what are little sisters for :)
